Özet : Rossetti and Lizzie prepare to settle into married life after they return home from their honeymoon. Millais comes up with the idea of an artistic colony for the Brotherhood and their partners which Rossetti is attracted by. Lizzie is not so keen though. Rossetti flirts with William Morris's wife, Jane. Lizzie is also abandoned by Ruskin when he withdraws his support for her art. Lizzie finds herself taking drugs to numb the pain she is feeling. Hunt attempts to win back Annie Miller. He sends Fred to ask her to marry him for him but she turns him down. Fred tells Lizzie a few home truths with devastating consequences.

Özet : Rossetti and Lizzie make the most of their new-found status and wealth now that they have Ruskin's generous patronage. Non stop partying means that they forget about the commissions that they have promised to complete. Ruskin threatens to cancel the patronage unless they get their acts together. Rossetti finds it hard to get down to business and ends up having an affair with a street girl called Fanny. Lizzie finds out about the affair when she catches them together.

Özet : Fred keeps an eye on Annie whilst While Hunt is away in the Holy Land. Annie seduces Fred though and when Hunt returns home he asks her to marry him. Ruskin is looking for a new protégé and considers Rossetti. Rossetti finally asks Lizzie to marry him. Both Hunt and Rosetti begin to wonder if they have made the right decision though to get married. Fred is determined to keep secret what happened between him and Annie.

Özet : John is happy that he has landed John Ruskin as his new patron. Hunt and Rossetti are jealous though as John starts to become famous. Ruskin wants John to paint a picture of his young wife called Effie and John learns from her that they are in a loveless marriage. John works out that he is expected to sleep with her in return for the patronage. John decides to walk away from the patronage but then realizes that he is in love with Effie.
